WayHidea is a cross-domain product discovery platform. Starting from real situations in life and work, we collect commercial products, research prototypes and concepts, and explain how they work and what they are made of — so you can see that the same problem has more than one answer.

WayHidea does not judge whether an idea is worth pursuing, and does not sell or source products. We simply help you see more possibilities.

What the statuses mean

CommercialOfficially on sale or in service, available from the brand or its channels.

Research prototypeShown as a prototype or demo by a research group or team, not yet sold as a product.

ConceptAn idea that has not been built yet, shared for inspiration; not available to buy.

UnverifiedInformation is incomplete, or the status (for example, open pre-orders) still needs confirming.

Sources and corrections

Content is compiled from public sources such as brand websites, research institutions, crowdfunding pages and industry press. Product images are used only with permission to display them. If you spot an error, or you represent a product or company we list, please let us know.

To improve what we cover, we record on-site search terms anonymously. We do not record anything that identifies you.
